Ranunculus Amandine Marshmallow is a soft, romantic ranunculus variety with layered blooms in creamy white and blush pink tones. Its full, ruffled flowers make it a beautiful choice for containers, borders, and cut flower arrangements.

This fall-planted ranunculus is available as a pre-order and ships around October, timed for fall planting in Canadian gardens. Each package includes 5 corms, size 5/6.

Plant Ranunculus Amandine Marshmallow in full sun to partial sun, in well-drained soil. Set corms about 5 cm deep and 10 cm apart. Plants reach approximately 35 cm tall and are best suited to zones 6 to 10. In colder or more exposed gardens, add winter protection to help protect the corms through the cold season.

With its soft colouring and elegant flower form, Amandine Marshmallow is especially useful for pastel garden palettes, spring-to-summer containers, and fresh-cut arrangements.

  • Fall-planted bulbs thrive when exposed to cool soil temperatures. They can be planted anytime from late September into January.
  • These bulbs lie dormant through winter and burst into bloom in the spring and early summer.
  • When you receive your bulbs, be sure to read the planting instructions included with each variety. Planting depth can vary depending on the size and type of the bulb, as well as how tall the mature plant will be.
  • As a general guideline, bulbs should be placed with the pointed end facing up and covered with about 15 cm (6 inches) of soil.
