Ranunculus Amandine Salmon is a romantic beautiful ranunculus variety with full, layered blooms in soft peach and salmon tones. Its ruffled, camellia-like flowers bring warmth and elegance to containers, garden beds, borders, and fresh-cut arrangements.

This fall-planted ranunculus is available as a pre-order and ships around the beginning of October, timed for fall planting in Canadian gardens. Each package includes 5 corms, size 5/6.

Plant Ranunculus Amandine Salmon in full sun to partial sun, in well-drained soil. Set corms about 5 cm deep and 10 cm apart. Plants reach approximately 35 cm tall and are best suited to zones 6 to 10. In colder or more exposed gardens, add winter protection to help protect the corms through the cold season.

With its warm salmon colouring and long-lasting blooms, Amandine Salmon is especially useful for cut flower gardens, pastel planting schemes, containers, and soft cottage-style borders.

  • Fall-planted bulbs thrive when exposed to cool soil temperatures. They can be planted anytime from late September into January.
  • These bulbs lie dormant through winter and burst into bloom in the spring and early summer.
  • When you receive your bulbs, be sure to read the planting instructions included with each variety. Planting depth can vary depending on the size and type of the bulb, as well as how tall the mature plant will be.
  • As a general guideline, bulbs should be placed with the pointed end facing up and covered with about 15 cm (6 inches) of soil.
