Allium Azureum brings an unexpected and refreshing burst of cerulean blue to the late spring garden. These compact, spherical flower clusters look best when planted en masse in borders or containers. Like all alliums, they’re easy to grow, pest-resistant, and a favourite among bees and other beneficial insects.

Allium Planting & Care

(Allium Azureum)

  • Plant your allium bulbs in mid to late fall, before the first hard frost.
  • Plant in borders or containers in sun or part shade. Make sure the soil is well draining.
  • Space the bulbs about twice the bulb diameter apart. Bury the bulbs at a depth roughly three times its height.
  • Place the allium bulbs with the pointed side facing upwards.
  • Cover with soil, firm gently and water well.
