With tall, fiery spires packed tightly with vibrant tangerine blooms, Eremurus 'Copper' adds vertical drama to any sunny landscape. These stunning Foxtail Lilies flourish in locations with excellent drainage and love basking in full sun. Perfect for the back of borders or in front of dark evergreen hedges, their structural blooms also make impressive additions to cut flower arrangements. For best results, amend heavy soils with grit or coarse sand to mimic their native, arid habitat.

Fall Bulb Planting Guide

  • Flower bulbs are a low-maintenance and rewarding way to add colour to your garden.
  • Fall-planted bulbs thrive when exposed to cool soil temperatures. They can be planted anytime from late September into January.
  • These bulbs lie dormant through winter and burst into bloom in the spring and early summer.
  • When you receive your bulbs, be sure to read the planting instructions included with each variety. Planting depth can vary depending on the size and type of the bulb, as well as how tall the mature plant will be.
  • As a general guideline, bulbs should be placed with the pointed end facing up and covered with about 15 cm (6 inches) of soil.
