A vigorous miniature ball‑dahlia producing a bounty of soft lavender‑lilac blooms with a distinctive dark eye. With 5–9 cm perfectly rounded flowers on tall, sturdy stems, it’s ideal for cut‑flower gardens. With excellent vase life, ‘Genova’ is a charming, pastel-coloured garden favourite. Sold as a tuber clump.

Dahlia Planting Guide

  • Choose a sunny location that receives at least 6–8 hours of direct sunlight daily for strong growth and abundant blooms.
  • Plant dahlia tubers after the danger of frost has passed and the soil has warmed, as cold, wet soil can cause tubers to rot.
  • Loosen the soil well and dig a hole about 6 inches deep. Place the tuber horizontally with the eye facing up.
  • Cover with soil and water lightly at planting. Avoid heavy watering until new growth appears.
  • Once shoots emerge, water regularly, keeping the soil evenly moist but never waterlogged.
