Growing to about 100 cm tall, Dahlia 'L.A.T.E' has neatly layered petals that form smooth, ball‑like flowers perfect for cutting, borders, and patio pots. This low‑maintenance, full‑sun dahlia blooms from midsummer through fall, adding romantic pastel charm to any garden. Sold as a tuber clump.

Dahlia Planting & Care

  • Choose a sunny location that receives at least 6–8 hours of direct sunlight daily for strong growth and abundant blooms.
  • Plant dahlia tubers after the danger of frost has passed and the soil has warmed, as cold, wet soil can cause tubers to rot.
  • Loosen the soil well and dig a hole about 6 inches deep. Place the tuber horizontally with the eye facing up.
  • Cover with soil and water lightly at planting. Avoid heavy watering until new growth appears.
  • Once shoots emerge, water regularly, keeping the soil evenly moist but never waterlogged.
