A mesmerizing pompon (ball) dahlia with perfectly round 12–14 cm blooms in a soft, marbled swirl of purple and vanilla-white. Resembling knitted spheres, these fully double flowers burst in abundance from mid-summer until the first frost. Dahlia 'Marble Ball' is an easy‑grow variety that offers long stems ideal for cut‑flower bouquets, mixed borders, or cottage gardens. Sold as a tuber clump.

Dahlia Planting Guide

  • Choose a sunny location that receives at least 6–8 hours of direct sunlight daily for strong growth and abundant blooms.
  • Plant dahlia tubers after the danger of frost has passed and the soil has warmed, as cold, wet soil can cause tubers to rot.
  • Loosen the soil well and dig a hole about 6 inches deep. Place the tuber horizontally with the eye facing up.
  • Cover with soil and water lightly at planting. Avoid heavy watering until new growth appears.
  • Once shoots emerge, water regularly, keeping the soil evenly moist but never waterlogged.
