Blueberry ‘Chandler’ is celebrated as one of the world’s largest blueberry varieties, producing impressively big, flavourful berries over a long ripening season of up to six weeks. This self-pollinating plant is perfect for home gardens, raised beds, or containers and delivers a generous harvest of fresh, homegrown blueberries.

‘Chandler’ thrives in organically rich, well-drained, acidic soil with consistent moisture and full sun to part shade. While self-fertile, planting two shrubs can boost fruit size and yield. Mulch with pine needles, wood chips, or acidic peat and keep well-watered for best results. Winter care includes pruning twiggy or damaged branches, removing flowers for the first two years to encourage growth, and avoiding heavy pruning on plants younger than three years. Ideal for fresh eating, baking, or preserving, this variety is a top choice for large, long-harvesting blueberry bushes.
