Paeonia ‘Haleigh’s Hallelujah’ (Itoh Peony) is a show-stopping perennial prized for its enormous, fully double blooms. Deep pink flowers gracefully fade to creamy white with rosy edges, creating striking bicolour contrast. Multiple side buds extend the bloom season from late spring into early summer. Strong, self-supporting stems hold the massive flowers upright above lush green foliage. This deer-resistant Itoh peony thrives in moist, well-drained soil and returns reliably each year—perfect for borders, focal plantings, and premium cut flowers.

Paeonia Planting & Care

(Paeonia Haleighs Hallelujah)

  • Choose a location with good sun exposure (generally 6-8 hours of sun per day in the summer).
  • Plant after the last spring frost when soil has warmed up and the roots will thrive.
  • Loosen soil and dig a hole about twice as deep a the plant. 
  • Cover the plant with soil and water well to ensure it gets a good start.
  • Continue to water as needed keeping the soil moist but not waterlogged.
