Polianthes tuberosa ‘Pink Sapphire’ is a rare and elegant tuberose variety, admired for its soft blush-pink, double blooms and luxurious fragrance. Richly scented and visually refined, this summer-flowering bulb is ideal for planting in small clusters where its perfume can drift through the garden. The sturdy flower spikes rise on slender stems, making ‘Pink Sapphire’ an excellent choice for cutting gardens and floral arrangements.

Tuberose Planting & Care

(Polianthes tuberose Pink Sapphire)

  • Choose a location with good sun exposure (generally 6-8 hours of sun per day in the summer).
  • Plant after the last spring frost when soil has warmed up and the roots will thrive.
  • Loosen soil and dig a hole about twice as deep a the plant. 
  • Cover the plant with soil and water well to ensure it gets a good start.
  • Continue to water as needed keeping the soil moist but not waterlogged.
