Polianthes tuberosa ‘Yellow’ brings a fresh burst of sunshine to the summer garden, offering a vibrant alternative to the classic white and pink tuberose varieties. Its elegant yellow flower spikes pair beautifully when planted alone, mixed with other tuberose colours such as The Pearl and Pink Sapphire, or woven into borders with summer-flowering perennials. Be sure to mark planting locations, as tuberose bulbs prefer to remain undisturbed once established.

  • Choose a location with good sun exposure (generally 6-8 hours of sun per day in the summer).
  • Plant after the last spring frost when soil has warmed up and the roots will thrive.
  • Loosen soil and dig a hole about twice as deep a the plant. 
  • Cover the plant with soil and water well to ensure it gets a good start.
  • Continue to water as needed keeping the soil moist but not waterlogged.
