Begonia Novelty Sunny Dream is a show-stopping cascading begonia with large, fully double, sunny yellow blooms that glow in containers and hanging baskets. Lightly fragrant flowers spill gracefully over the edges, brightening partially shaded patios, balconies, and garden spaces from summer into fall. This Belgian novelty begonia is perfect as a standalone feature or as a warm contrast in mixed planters. Start tubers indoors 4–6 weeks early for best results. Not frost hardy—lift and store tubers in fall to enjoy again next season.

Begonia Planting & Care

(Begonia Novelty Sunny Dream)

  • Choose a location with partial shade or light shade where begonias will be protected from harsh mid day sun.
  • Plant after the last spring frost when soil has warmed up and the roots will thrive.
  • Loosen soil and dig a hole about twice as deep a the plant. 
  • Cover the plant with soil and water well to ensure it gets a good start.
  • Continue to water as needed keeping the soil moist but not waterlogged.
