Introducing, Tulip Flamingo Queen, new to our Premium Collection of fall bulbs. 

Tulip ‘Flamingo Queen’ is a dramatic parrot tulip that brings bold texture and movement to the spring garden, with large, ruffled blooms in vibrant shades of flamingo pink, coral, and soft blush. Its deeply feathered petals twist and curl as they open, creating an almost sculptural form that shifts and changes with the light and breeze.

Our Premium Collection of bulbs offer stunning, hard to find varieties that are treasured by gardeners. Often prized as collectors items, these varieties are scarce and available in limited quantities. Make sure to order early!

Planting & Care

Tulip Planting Guide

  • Tulips are cold-hardy and thrive outdoors through the winter. For optimal results, plant them anytime from October through mid-December. If your bulbs arrive earlier in the season (like September), store them in a cool, dry, and rodent-proof place until the weather cools enough for planting.
  • You can plant tulip bulbs directly into garden beds or outdoor containers.
  • For gardens with dense or clay-heavy soil, improve drainage by mixing in generous amounts of compost and coarse sand or grit.
  • Choose a location that gets full sun or partial/dappled shade.
  • Plant each bulb 15–20 cm deep, ensuring the pointed tip is facing upwards.
  • In containers, space bulbs about 10 cm apart for a full, lush look. In garden beds, you can space them slightly farther apart if desired.
